Car Pulls???

My car has recently concerned me after driving it this winter. Whenever the roads are even mildly wet (snow/rain), and I drive over anything slick, including those black shiny patch jobs on the highway, the car will jerk suddenly to one side.

Paying closer attention to it, it seems its only the rear that pulls to one side or the other. This happens with both sides of the car depending on which side drove over the patches. As soon as I get off the slippery part, the car will jerk back the opposite direction.

I know quite a bit about this car considering I have done most of the work on it myself, or at least investigated it before taking it somewhere professional.

I checked the wheels to be sure they were bolted on tight, they are. Tire pressures look good. Looking from the back forward, it seems as though the back tires are slanted slightly in at the top (negative camber), but the front wheels seem to be at zero camber. I have had an alignment done not too long ago (last year), but I can't recall if adjustments were made or what the numbers were.

I usually store this car for the winter so I've never really had this problem before. Otherwise, whenever the roads are dry, the car does extremely well. Sometimes I can let go for a half mile before needing to do minor corrections.

I've heard that strut problems can cause this? Is that correct?

I've looked at http://www.aa1car.com/library/tr295.htm for a lot of helpful ideas of what it could be, but is there any sort of quick tests or checks I can do before going to the shop?

Other car notes:
Mechanically sound after rebuild at 124k
Aftermarket suspension since 2004, replaced struts and springs, lowered 1.5 inches.
Newer Tires and Rims, Aftermarket 17" (vs 16" stock)

I would have a look at all the after market suspension components that were installed. Things like control arm bushings, trailing arms, track bars; whatever this manufacturer wants to call their components?
Have the rear alignment checked and possibly tailor adjusted to compensate for the lowering of the vehicle.
