Whatever your task at hand -- whether its launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom class 3 hitch is made vehicle-specific. This particular model fits certain years of the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to tow utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid Bonderite and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage. Plus, to give you the confidence to Bring It no matter what your next task is, all class 3 hitches are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Question From slyfox on 99 kia sportage
The windows on my 99 Kia Sportage all stopped working and the AC seemed to stop at the same time. Can anybody tell me what to look for ?
Response From slyfox
replaced the fuse. worked for a while. replaced fuse again shut car off, windows did not work or ac. ??
Response From carjunky☆☆☆☆☆Top Rated Answer
Hmmm.... Something is causing the fuse to blow.... question when you replaced the fuse what worked the windows or ac or both.....
and when it blow the second time was the ac on then you lowered a window? Or it just popped with time
Response From grand_sea
sounds like you have a short!! Check where the wires between the door and frame by the hinges some times they get pinched also check the wires leading into the fuse I've had them get broken & freyed and start shorting things out!!
Response From carjunky
Hmmm... Seems like it could be a blown fuse or relay..... look for your fuse box, either under the console near the drivers side of the car inside.... or under the hood. In this fuse box you will see a listing of fuses and what they control.... look for a/c and windows if they are under the same fuse check they fuse to see if it has blown.... Burnt signs, and not connected.... if so replace it with the correct amp fuse....
Anyone else have a suggestion if it isn't the fuse or relay?

Question From jbfarms on kia sportage spark plugs
I bought a set of Bosch plugs for my kia sportage but dont see how to get to the old ones to remove them, also dont see the wires that go to them. dont have a service manual and the owners manual dosent say how either. any help appreciated.
Response From jwelch
this engine should have a coil on plug design, you may have to remove a plastic cover to see the top of the coils, they will have to be removed to get to the spark plugs under them, the plug wire or boot will be attached to the under side of the coil
Response From jbfarms
I am familiar with the coil/boot design, been working on cars all my life and have never seen one where I couldnt find the plugs, this one is a mystery to me....no visible signs of any coils, boots or plugs. I removed the cover from atop the engine, removed the heat sheild from lower right side thinking they may be in between the exhast manifold ports. on the left side of the engine there is a plenum, looks like the injectors are there, nothing like coils or plugs, wires under there either...those koreans really know how to hide things I guess.

http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl610g.htm this link shows a pic of where they are at, sorry this is the only pic i could find of it
Response From jbfarms
Hey thanks for the help, I finally found where their hidden at, you have to take it all off the top of the engine and I mean all except for the plenum or intake manifold. you have to remove the throttle cable assembly, air induction and some sort of filter assembly. then you will find a plastic cover with 6 screws holding to the engine, looks just like part of the valve covers. under this you will find 2 coils that you have to remove and get at the plugs which screw in at least 4 to 5 inches down a hole...4 holes. omg!! never seen anything like this set up. will take you around an hour to change out 4 spark plugs!!

I AM LOOKING AT A USED KIA SPORTAGE FOR 2900.00 4WD BUT IT HAS ON THE DISCLOSURE THAT IT HAS A OIL LEAK AND A RT FRONT AXEL LEAK. SHOULD I KEEP LOOKING FOR A BETTER CAR?
Response From Tom Greenleaf
I'd pass based on that info KNOWN unless you can get an estimate (separate from seller) for a complete fix of the two items AND an overall check of the vehicle's condition that's to your satifaction. Used is used. It's a difficult market,
