What is the part you pump the gas into on an 1996 toyota camry, and is the part available?

I'm guessing that you mean what pumps the fuel to the engine from the gas tank?

You have an electric fuel pump - either in the gas tank itself or in line. They certainly are available but you'd best know what you are doing to replace it - Warning here!

If you are in a real cold climate use the water removeing dry gas - Isopropyl formula. If car isn't running at all it will need to put in a heated garage - and still could be a pain.

Think HARD about replacement of the fuel pump - you can end up with tank of gas spilled everywhere and like I said - Danger with that. If in any kind of doubt - DON'T!!!! I mean it - let the pros do some stuff and save $ on other things, Good luck, Tom Greenleaf

I’m guessing here as well but if you mean where you put the gas into the tank it’s called the filler neck and yes it’s available at either the auto wreckers used or new from the dealer.

Stop trying! They sell the whole shaft rebuilt for less struggle than you are going thru. An alignement shop can help you but if you bring your own part they won't want to guarentee the part. mark up is generally 40% and makes them responsibe for the part. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf
