If you replaced a hydraulic component it needs to be bled like a brake. Gravity is usually enough.
Good luck, Tom Greenleaf

Message: I'm guessing that the front running lights work from your post.
If so that should rule out the + side (fused power) and that you probably have a ground problem. Tricky one here. You can use jumper wire or jumper cables to connect known ground to the back (body) as a test. There and with jumper wire to what should be ground at dash.
I'm just guessing here but I'd also take a look at the possible trailer wiring that comes with many of these vehs. See if it's all corroded or something just to rule that out. If unused it's tied up at the back bumper.
I'm a little confused with this one - but please post back what fixed it so we know for any similar case, Good luck, Tom Greenleaf

I think a digital dash cluster would probably cost more new than the vehicle so used is probably it. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf

I thought it was something with the trailer connector! I did not check the ground, only for power. I checked a couple of chilton books. but none had anything about wireing.
I already replaced the wiper control board.

Message: Does anyone know why this truck will not start when it is cold? Once it has been running, it runs fine. However, to get it started initially you have to spray carb cleaner or similar into the throttle body. Have not noticed this problem during the warmer months. Does it have to do with a sensor?
Please reply as soon as possible.

When I pull out of the parking garage and the day time lights come on, everything goes back to normal.
Any idea?
I should also mention that my ABS warning light has been on for some time. But I was told something needs to be greased to solve that problem.
