Message: I wish I knew how to get the door open. My 92 is doing the same thing. The repair place said it would be 400 dollars. I wish Car Junky could give you and me and answer as to how to get the door panel off without tearing it up.

Message: you can get the door panel off your accord by loosening all the rivets and screws you can get to. the part of the panel that goes behind the door jamb you can snap the rivets off by jerking on the panel. once you get the panel off you have to unhook the power options. now comes the hard part, you must drill out the door latch in precisely the right spot this will throw the latch. honda knows about this problem they should recall these latches. I don't know how you would get them to recall if anybody does let me know.

Message: I am in the middle of trying to drill out the lock assembly on the driver's side door on my 1990 Honda. The door latch is stuck in the closed position. I took the interior panel off to access the assembly. Whatever broke or in stuck is deep inside the latch mechanism. I found some technical instruction on where to drill, but this did not help. I bought a new latch assembly and studied it to see how it works. (By the way, a new latch assembly is $77.00 at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com) So far no progress. I am still looking for tips if anyone has them. My plan is to drill the Dickens out of the damn lock until it falls apart and the door opens.

| 1993 Accord Dash Instrument Panel IP: Logged
Message: I cannot find a decent online manual showing the blow up view of how to remove my 1993 Honda Accord instrument panel. I need to replace a number of light bulbs because the temp gauge is dark, the needles on the tach and speedometer are dark, and other misc. spots of the instrument panel have gone black. Some lights still work, however. So, I'd like to know how to get the instrument panel out of the dash. Thanks for any help.

| Is it possible to get rid of sensor? IP: Logged
Message: Dear Sir:
I have the same problem with my Honda Civic 1998.
The real problem is even if you replace it the bad quality of gas will destroy it again.
Now I intend to get rid of it. Because it causes more harm than saving. Moreover the bad quality of fuel in gas station will make new sensor out of order again. So why waste money.
If you do not mind lets find way to make the fuel system free of those stupid sensors.
Please if you know the answer let me know
Thanks

| 93 honda accord clutch pedal problem IP: Logged
Message: The clutch pedal is now going to the floor and staying. Awhile before this happened I had to pump the pedal to get it to operate the clutch. It would stick the pop up a few times then start working like nothing was ever wrong. Is there a cable to adjust or an easy fix that I can do myself?
