Subject: camaro o2 sensors IP: Logged
Message: Ijust replace the cat converer for my 2001 Camaro, service engine light back on again getting code 0420 catalyst efficiency low BANK #1. I replace the O2 sensor on drivers side but light hasnot gone out. Have I changed the right sensor??

remove the positive and negative battery terminals for a minute and then replace, if the light still doesn't go out replace a differnet sensor

Message: Do not disconnect battery cables to remove OBDII trouble codes, major problems could occur. You need to check the post cat O2 sensor for that bank. More than likely that's the problem.
