My brand new convertible mustang did the same thing. Dealership took the whole thing apart. Wires were lose so it wasn't getting a connection to make the top go up/ down.

I have a 93 honda prelude si (2.3 liter). when i get on the gas it hesitates for a split second. Also when I first start my car it idols at 2200 rpm, then it bounces back and forth from 1200 to 2200 untill its warmed up

The latch on the top above the drivers side is loose and wont close tight. Does anyone know where i can get it fixed? I tried the upholsrty shop but, they told me they dont do those. I allready have the part ijust someone to replace it.Is there a website i can visit that will show me how to fix it?

Should just be screws nuts and bolts. Some my be hidden behing trim which usually snaps in and out if nothing seen - be careful not break stuff. Body shops would be a best bet for this. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf
