Even with plenty of antifreeze the heat gauge has been hitting red after 5 minutes... I've turned the heater on and only cold air blows thru so there is no heat venting.
If this is a fault in the thermostat, where is it located in the '94?

Hiya, I have a BMW 520i, for what ever reason the heating system has stopped working, the car is blowing out cold air. I had the thermostat changed. Still I am getting this cold air. One mechanic suggested it could be the head gasket needs changeing, I am not so sure. If anyone out there has any suggestions, your help would be greatly appreciated.

both of u might want to look into new heater cores. . . .there are a few ways to check this so ask you mechanics how to troubleshoot this

The fan on my BMW hit the hose that runs from the radiator to the engine. I have the new hose on but don't know how to get the air out of the engine. Any advice?

Hello,
I have posted because I have a bad problem with my windows, and I want them to be fixed. When I first got my car, both of my windows rolled down, then all of a sudden, my passenger window stop working completely. I would tap the door and it would work sometimes, but then it didn't even do that. Then I started having trouble with my driver door. The windo will come down a little, then it will have to sit for a minute, and then it will go down some more. Sometimes, it goes down and up easier than others, but most of the time it is a chore just to get it to go all the way up, or down. If anyone has any information that will help me solve this problem, I would apreciate it, and thank you.
