I bought this car a month ago and it has some problems with it.
#1: I don't have the fuse box diagram, I bought a Chilton repair manual but it doesn't have the diagram inside. I was wondering if you knew where I might find this?
#2: The cooling fan only comes on when I turn on the AC. Would that be the thermo sensor, the relay or something else. It looks like who ever owned this car before did a little wiring of their own which is making it hard diagnosing problems.

If you are looking for fuse and relay locations the owner's manual usually tells you. If you need a wiring diagram the book will be big bucks.

You may only have a temp sensor near thermostat that is bad. If you can find the right one it should have power to it with engine in run position with key and connecting the unplugged switch should make fan come on. If so the switch is probably bad. In the mean time you can put the car on A/C mode and ask for high temp if cold where you are.

If there are two separate fans it could be a fuse or relay. To be safer with jumping wiring use a fused (you may have to make it) alligator clip type jumper wire to protect against possible problems. Have the correct amp fuse in the jumper for what you are testing. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf
