Message: Tom, if you are still out there....
I had the problem with the hydraulic clutch acting up. The Garage said I needed to change both cylinders. Should I take their word for it or just try replacing one. If so, which would be the most likely to be gone.
Thanks again.....
susie (anyone else may help if you'd like)

Message: Susie - it's probably a case of either covering ones butt or they don't know which of the two is bad. If it costs lots more they should figure out which one - both is NOT likely. The Master could be plugged for a test for leak down.
Either could be bad and with the misfortune of someone adding wrong fluid, both are bad. The quick oil change places are responsible for lots of wrong fluid put in things. These are "Brake" like parts and can't tolerate oils at all. They will fail. Brake fluid is rubber product friendy and oils used in PS, Trans, Engine are not compatible with brake parts/seals. If that happened it will be hard to prove. I never made that mistake but think a problem would show up within a week. Good luck, You can "Hit" me at home base with the little box under my name if you just click on it, Tom Greenleaf

Message: The horn on my 92 jeep cherokee stopped working. where is the fuse for it? the local oil change mechanics, who are usually very efficient, could not locate the fuse, wire,or horn under the hood to troubleshoot.
