You didn't state which motor but I think it's the 3800. They are not that hard. To see how hard...

- loosen a little the bolts of the pump pulley

- take belt out of the way

- remove pulley see water pump.

It should look pretty basic to if it looks like what I think - just a few bolts with nothing really in the way go ahead and do it. Take care to clean old gasket real well and not damage the engine side. Install and tighten the pulley bolts as firm as you can. Sometimes a square shank screwdriver on two bolts can hold it while you tighten another one at a time, check again with belt back on. Unless just done fill it up with new 50/50 coolant/antifreeze, and the tank if it was low. Re check the coolant level at the radiator a couple of times of warm ups and cool downs as bubbles get purged. Radiator full first then the recovery tank. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf

PS: If it does't look like what I described - sorry but it still may be an easy one.

Mark it’s not all that difficult of a job, just take your time.
I suggest getting the replacement pump before you start the repair, it’ll make it easier as what bolts you do or don’t need to remove.
I’m at home right now so I can’t look this up for sure, but I think you’ll have to remove the front engine mount to get to all of the water pump bolts. If so you’ll need some form of jack so you can lift and support the engine.
We use a floor jack with a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan of the engine. Be careful not to damage the pan.
Dan.
