Message: my Jeep has a hydraulic clutch. It's acting up. The fluid is up. It will sometimes not engage so I can't put it in 1st or can't get it out of 1st (same as for reverse) It seems fine in the other gears. It also works for a while if I pump it 1/2 way a few times before trying to put it into gear. It's like it's not getting the pressure or the fluid.
Any suggestions on what I can bring to the garage?
Thanks greatly appriciated
Susie

Message: Hydraulics for clutch involves a Master and Slave Cylinder. Probably a fault in either. If fluid is low the leak needs fixing and filling it can make it work to get you going. Usually DOT 3 Brake fluid and should say so on the cap where you put it in. Good luck with the fix, Tom Greenleaf
