Message: Hi Dan,
This post showed up without showing the orig problem. Sounds like one I responded to for a broken hood release. If so - from under car try to move the latch that the cable would have if working. Not easy and they were designed that way.

Message: My sons car is being difficult and not starting. If it's driven for any length of time and is turned off it won't start again. As long as it sits for a few hours it's fine but after it's driven a long time it doesn't want to restart. If it does restart as soon as you put it in gear it dies again.
