Message: Keep replacing the headlights on a 99 hyundai accent, but after about an hour of use they both dim and then burn out. Any ideas?

Message: too much heat, likely that both high and low beams are burning together and overheating the lamp. replace lamp, then (at night) pull where your lights shine on a wall, switch from high to low beam, any difference? if no difference you need to replace the switch or stuck relay.
good luck!

Message: Hi!!
I have a 95' Mitsubhishi Mirage. I find that one of my headlight bulb gets burns out every 6 months. When I remove the bulb, I observe that either the filament is gone (like in any normal burn out) or the top cover of the bulb has blasted off. Any ideas on what is happening here? What should I do?
Thanks,
NM

Message: Make sure you aren't touching the glass on the new bulbs...the glass is porous and oils from your skin will clog pores causing excessive heat buildup and premature failure.
