is it a factory alarm, or aftermarket?
if you want to disconnect your factory alarm, you should not use your key fob that was given to you with the purchase of the vehicle. in most newer ford trucks, the system only arms with the factory key fob. let me know if this doesnt work. i might be able to help you out.
