5th Annual Clinton Technical School Car Show

Show is held the second saturday of may annually. this years show is on may 13, 2006 at the henry county fairgrounds parking lot in clinton, missouri. we have 23 classes for cars, trucks, and motorcycles with plaques given to the top 2 in each class. besides the plaques we give 7 different trophies and lots of door prizes to our participants throughout the day. registration is from 8:00 a.m. till noon, judging is at 1:00 p.m., live charity auction of automotive related items including a 350 chevy engine rebuilt by the automotive students at 1:30 p.m., awards at 3:00 p.m. we also have a large food concession and play 50's & 60's music all day. no charge for spectators, participants are $10 if postmarked by april 25th and $15 after that date. this show benefits two student organizations; skillsusa & deca to pay for expenses incurred at district, state and national competitions throughout the following school year. it also benefits the nick bauer automotive scholarship that awards $500 to a graduating automotive student from the technical school who wants to continue their automotive studies in college.
