I'm the previous owner of www.z28.com. Many of you have probably visited my site as it was one of the first Camaro sites to be on the Internet. For 7 years I used Mobil 1 5W30 in my 5 Z28's. Then my 2001 Z28 started having the bad oil consumption that most LS1 owners either have or know about. This web page explains the problem I had and how I discovered how to stop it.
